GIDE is an international consortium of higher education design schools, which work together in order to enrich the experience of students in the areas of 3D, architecture, interior design, industrial, interaction design and art and design (interdisciplinary) practice. At GIDE (Magdeburg 2011) my international team of european students had to create a new type of game. We wanted to reflect in our game that the ancient and the modern part of Magdeburg are perfectly blended. The medieval joust inspired the whole game. By using felt as main material, we created a cow and a car to be worn by two knights. With the aid of a stick, they have to steal the opponents rings. The winner is the one that steals the most rings in 2 minutes.
